The week is half over. Here are some Midweek Randoms...
1) My work week is more than half over. This is my 9/80 Friday Off (I work 80 hours in 9 work days and get the second Friday off). It's beautiful.
2) I'm finally getting my bumper fixed this weekend from an accident in April when someone rearended me on the way to work. I have always been so careful with my car, and there was hardly a scratch on it since I got it in 2008. I really hope that the new bumper paint matches the rest of the car.
3) I have a small collection of jars - salad dressing jars, pasta sauce jars, etc. - that my husband would LOVE for me to throw away. but... I saw the cutest craft project using burlap and lace that I'm definitely going to try this weekend. I bought several yards of burlap a couple of years ago that I'm still using. I may need to purchase some lace, or I might just use some ribbon that I already have.
4) Also on the craft to-do list this weekend is a rag wreath. I made a tiny one this week as a trial, and it's super cute. My front door needs an update from the one I made in March.
5) I need a new planner. I like mine from this past year, but it is just too big. It is 8.5x11 and is often the first thing I take out of my purse when it gets heavy or messy. I like to have the full month, a page (or two) for each week, and some space to keep papers and coupons. It's hard to find that in a travel-sized book.
6) I grew up in a house where music was always playing. I love music, and I'm always singing (not very well...). I was reading some of my blog posts one day and noticed that many of the post titles were song titles or lyrics. Now, I title all of my blog posts with song titles or lyrics. :)
