As a child, it seemed that the time between September and May passed so slowly. On the contrary, July, June, and August were a flash of swimming in the sunshine, vacations to the lake, and tree-swinging with bare feet. As an adult, it seems as if every month passes as quickly as those three magical months of childhood. Wasn't I 25 years old, like, yesterday?? How can I be 30? Didn't we JUST get married?? How can we have just celebrated 5 years of marriage?

officially became a Professional Engineer.
hosted a baby shower for my best friend.
atttended some awesome concerts at the Houston Rodeo.
ran for the rose to support brain cancer research.
did some engineering work.
marveled at the Beer Can Houston in Houston.
decided that my natural color looks best.
changed jobs!
visited London...
lived in an apartment while our house was being repaired (only a few more weeks until we can move back in!)
celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary!
also.. the year I... paid a boat load of money to remove bees from our home (thanks neighbors who care not for home maintenance and passed their bees along to us), turned 30, and started fertility treatments.
2013 is only a day away! I'm excited for what it will bring... hopefully, less bees, less flooding, more family time, more vacation!
