After 18 days of pondering, I have finally decided on my 2012 goals.
- make better food choices. This doesn't mean that I will always eat salad and drink only water. Let's be honest. I like cake. BUT It is far better to share a piece of cake or eat a small piece of cake than eat a HUNK of cake.
- RUN more often with the goal of completing Run for the Rose on March 25, 2012 and running a 1/2 marathon by the end of the year. That doesn't sound too hard... or exciting. I happen to think that running is a boring "sport" (if you choose to call it a sport). BUT... it is also the easiest way to exercise, because I have a treadmill at home. Setting a goal of running a 1/2 marathon will give me motivation.
- limit myself to one soda per day. When I drink a lot of soda, I feel awful. No brainer.
- scrapbook all of our vacations with my new Cricut Imagine. I have use the Cricut for a few baby shower projects so far, and I LOVE it! I can't wait to scrapbook my little heart out.
Today is day one in working towards meeting these goals. Every month on the 18th, I will post an update on my progress.
Happy New Year!
