Our First Trip to Disney World Together

I have always LOVED Disney World.  I have so many fond memories of my family at Disney World.  I remember being in the pop-up camper at Disney's campgrounds.  I remember riding the Tea Cups with my Mom.  I remember my Dad cooking breakfast before a long day of park hopping.  I remember riding Tower of Terror with my high school danceline teammates.  I remember pushing my friend around in a wheel chair after she hurt her knee just weeks before our trip.  We got to skip the lines on so many rides.  and now... I remember going there with my husband.

We spent our first day at Hollywood Studios.  Tower of Terror is still my favorite, and Rockin' Roller Coaster is not as great as I had remembered it.  We ate at the Hollywood Brown Derby, and saw Fantasmic.

Our second day was also Chris's birthday!  We went to Magic Kingdom.  It rained in the morning, but that was ok with us.  The rain kept the crowds low, and we got to meet Donald.

Our third day was spent at Epcot, which stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.  Walt Disney sure did have a passion for technology.  In all his Disney World visits, Chris had never really been to Epcot.  His family always spent their time in Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.

We park hopped on our last day.  In the morning, we went to Animal Kingdom, another park that Chris hadn't visited.  We went on a mini-safari and rode the best ride at Disney World - Expedition Everest.  In the afternoon, we went back to Hollywood Studios to ride our second favorite ride for the third time - Toy Story Mania.

Before hopping on the plane to head back home, we ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  Chris hung out with Goofy while Mickey and I became best buds.

I'm sure that we'll be back to Disney World several more times in our life. After all, it's the happiest place on Earth!
