Pre-Thanksgiving Thanks

My first Thanksgiving with my in-laws was before Chris and I got married.  On the drive down to see his family, he told me of their tradition of going around the table to say for what you are thankful for the year.  My first thought was, "That's so cheesy."  BUT I complied with the tradition.  It has become my favorite part of Thanksgiving - along with the yummy food.

What I have to be Thankful for:
A loving husband
The best Mom I could ever imagine
An awesome mother-in-law
Great family and friends
Lillian
A JOB
My health
2 new little nephews this year - Joseph and Eli
and 27 years of having the best Dad I could have ever imagined

Two years ago at this time, I was on top of the world - just married, in St. Lucia on my honeymoon with a job to come home to, and no worries.  I don't think that I appreciated the good things in my life then as much as I do now.
